SPE Milwaukee is proud to offer an exclusive plant tour of J.W. Speaker, a leader in LED and emerging lighting technologies.
For more than 90 years, this family-run company has designed, manufactured, and assembled its products in Germantown, Wisconsin, delivering innovative lighting solutions to customers around the world. J.W. Speaker serves a wide range of markets, including power sports, agriculture, heavy-duty trucking and mining, military, specialty automotive, and more.
One of J.W. Speaker’s key differentiators is its strong commitment to vertical integration. During the tour, you will see how they:
• Design and build their own printed circuit boards for LED products
• Mold and metallize plastic housings and lenses in-house
• Assemble finished products under one roof
In the plastic injection molding department, attendees will observe unique and advanced processes such as multi-shot molding, thick optic molding, and intricate, delicate insert molding. The facility features 26 injection molding presses and 4 metallizers, with operations running 24 hours a day, five days a week.
This tour offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at a world-class manufacturing operation and is an excellent opportunity for professionals interested in advanced plastics processing, lighting technologies, and vertically integrated manufacturing.
We hope you’ll join us for this informative and engaging experience.
